This handcrafted brass singing bowl from Nepal is a refined blend of resonant sound and sacred symbolism, created using detailed modern engraving techniques. Designed for deep meditation, spiritual practice, and ritual use, its large size produces a full, rich, and long-lasting tone.
At the center of the bowl sits Shakyamuni Buddha, serenely seated on a lotus throne, symbolizing enlightenment and inner awakening. The inner wall is encircled by mandala bands of the sacred Om Mani Padme Hum mantra, interwoven with Treasure Vase motifs representing abundance and blessings. Along the inner rim, protective guardian patterns symbolize the dispelling of negative energies and the preservation of sacred space.
The outer wall is adorned with the Eight Auspicious Symbols (Ashtamangala), a traditional set of sacred emblems representing good fortune and spiritual fulfillment. These include the parasol, golden fish, treasure vase, lotus, conch shell, endless knot, victory banner, and Dharma wheel, symbolizing wisdom, protection, and prosperity.
On the base, a prominent Double Vajra (Vishvavajra) symbolizes absolute stability and the indestructible foundation of truth in all directions.
With a fundamental frequency of approximately 560–580 Hz, this bowl produces a deep, stable, and enduring resonance, ideal for meditation, sound healing, and ceremonial use.
