This handcrafted brass singing bowl from Nepal is created using traditional techniques combined with fine modern engraving, uniting rich resonance with profound spiritual symbolism. Its large size produces a clear, balanced, and long-lasting tone, ideal for meditation, study, and sound healing.
At the center of the bowl is a finely detailed image of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, seated on a lotus throne and holding the flaming sword of insight, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance and the awakening of true knowledge.
The inner wall is encircled by a mandala of the Eight Auspicious Symbols (Ashtamangala), complemented by Cintamani (Wish-Fulfilling Jewels) and Endless Knot motifs, representing wisdom, continuity, and spiritual abundance. The outer wall features a mandala of the sacred Om Mani Padme Hum mantra in Sanskrit script, interwoven with traditional lotus and Dharma wheel patterns, symbolizing purity and the path of awakening.
On the base, a traditional mandala design represents the universe in harmony and the balanced foundation of spiritual practice.
With a fundamental frequency of approximately 310-330 Hz, this bowl produces a clear, steady, and uplifting resonance, ideal for meditation, mindfulness, and wisdom practices.
