Amethyst Symbolizes

  • Clear Thinking: For those who work with their brains for a long time, are under too much pressure, amethyst can help calm their minds, quietly sort out every thought, and make things neat and organized.

  • Spiritual Growth: Amethyst helps to increase meditation and inner awareness, enhance the "sixth sense", and make inspiration flow like a spring.

  • Protection:  Amethyst contains a large amount of iron element, which helps protect the magnetic energy field. Therefore, from ancient times to the present, many places have used amethyst in religious ceremonies to enhance spirituality and shield from negative energy

  • Calm & Peace: The delicate energy of amethyst can enhance tolerance, reduce stress and anxiety, and soothe the mind and emotions.

Meditation & Healing

  • Symbolizing purity and enlightenment, Amethyst is used in rituals to purify and protect sacred spaces. During spiritual practices, amethyst can help to calm the mind and stay aware.

  • Amethyst opens the Crown Chakra, connecting to higher consciousness. It can help clear the energy of the crown chakra, allowing the hidden light of wisdom to emerge, and not be confused by worldly and ignorant thoughts.

  • The Third Eye Chakra is located between the eyebrows and is related to a person's intuition, wisdom, and vision. Our physical eyes are used to see the outside world, while the third eye is used to look inward and enhance self-awareness. Therefore, amethyst helps to enhance our intuition, improve self-awareness, promote deeper thinking, and inspire the inner spirituality of life.

Amethyst Legends

Its name comes from the ancient Greek word “amethystos”, meaning “not intoxicated”, reflecting the belief that the stone could prevent drunkenness.

In Greek mythology, amethyst is linked to Dionysus, the god of wine, and was often worn as an amulet of clarity and sobriety.
