This Tibetan style wooden incense burner box is beautifully hand carved and painted in traditional colors with “Wheel and Deer” motif. The female and male deer, facing the Dharma Wheel (Wheel of the Teachings), as if attentively listening. Indeed, teaching and deer are associated in Buddhism since the Buddha gave his first sermon at Deer Park, Sarnath, where he set in motion the "first turning of the wheel of dharma."
The smoke will rise through the narrow opening on the lid of the box. A small drawer on the side is for storing incense. It has a metal liner on the inside which provides protection against overheating.
Suitable for Tibetan incense sticks and powder incense.
Each incense burner is hand carved and painted by Himalayan artisans and may vary slightly in colors and patterns.
Directions for Use：
- Place a thin layer of ash or sand on the bottom of the new incense burner.
- Light the incense stick and place it horizontally on the bed of ash or sand.
- Always burn incense in moderate quantities to prevent overheating.
- Never leave your incense burning unattended.
